Well, really "whale" is just a non-technical term to describe cetaceans, so dolphins and porpoises really are "whales".. but yes, technically orcas are part of the family delphinidae. I think we just generally use the term "whale" to describe larger cetaceans.

Thanks for the audio. My 8 month old son's laugh (at times) comes out like the sound between 1:18 and 1:19. We call it his dolphin impression. I needed to show my 4 year old daughter what her mom and I are talking about -- as soon as she heard it, her eyes lit up and he excitedly called out, "It's Benjamin!!!"

According to Oceanographers the killer whale is both a whale and a porpoise. A dolphin belongs to the family of porpoise. I would do a little research. That is where I got my information from.

My siamese kitten is going completely loopy trying to find this dolphin. Jumped on the computer table, looked behind the screen, under the desk and is most put out that she cannot get to it!

Maybe the guy put a killer whale in there because a killer whale is not jus a whale but a porpoise too, and what is a dolphin a porpoise. I learned this back in the 70's by having an interest in zoology.
